Jon Taffer and his team from "Bar Rescue" have swung into a Wisconsin bar for an upcoming episode of the hit reality TV show, making it the second one in the Badger State in the last few weeks.

If you haven't seen the show before, the idea behind "Bar Rescue" is to help establishments like bars, pubs, and nightclubs improve their customer experience and, moreover, improve profitability and the way the business works.

The crew of Bar Rescue was at a Sheboygan bar called Harbor Lights in early September, with filming just after the Labor Day holiday. The bar is located near the mouth of the Sheboygan River into Lake Michigan.

The bar & restaurant reportedly has a long history, being a popular place for ship crews on the Great Lakes to stop at when in the Sheboygan area as far back as the 1860s. Records of the bar date back to 1865, with photos and newspaper clippings being part of the decor of the bar.

Less than a month after this visit, the "Bar Rescue" crews showed up further south on the Lake Michigan shoreline for a visit to a Milwaukee area bar called Tropic MKE.

The Downtown Milwaukee bar is in the historic financial district on Water Street.

They call themselves on their Facebook page "A chill lounge with amazing jerk wings, bar bites, craft cocktails & mocktails, authentic rum punch, the best frozen drinks in the city, and smooth hookah!" They also regularly host live music and other events.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Jon Taffer and his team from the show are paying a visit to Tropic MKE this week, citing a special event permit the show's makers have with the City of Milwaukee from September 16 through September 21.

They report that there was a lot of activity on Wednesday, with several people, trailers, and equipment outside the bar. A production team member told the MJS that they would be holding a grand reopening on Friday (September 20) for the public, unveiling some of the changes implemented as part of the show.

There isn't yet any information about when the episode will air, but you'll have to keep an eye out for it! The show airs on the cable channel Paramount Network and is available for streaming on Paramout+.
