Lambeau Field Flooded After Heavy Storms
The Green Bay Packers may be looking forward to putting some teams under water this season, but right now their stadium is under water, well at least partly.
Heavy thunderstorms in the Green Bay area caused some flooding in a corner of Lambeau Field overnight. Photos shared by local news show several inches of standing water on the field.
The Packers are on the road for their final preseason game in Kansas, so they'll have almost two weeks to dry the field before the Pack opens the season at home against the Bears on Sunday, September 9th.
And the internet being the internet created a meme out of the incident within hours. While I find this one to be highly unlikely, I'll share it for you Packer fans. SKOL!
