'Operation American Resolve' with the Minnesota National Guard, which includes Duluth's own 148th, happened earlier this week, now take a ride with the pilots as they do the flyovers.

The flyovers happened on Wednesday, May 6th above veteran and healthcare facilities around the state. The148th Fighter Wing teamed up with Saint Paul's 133rd Airlift Wing for the event.

The video was recorded from one of the 148th Fighter Wing F-16 Fighting Falcons while they were in the air and the Minnesota National Guard shared the video on social media, check out the cool footage below.

The planes flew over locations all around the state including Brainerd, Little Falls, Saint Cloud, Monticello, Coon Rapids, Maple Grove, Robbinsdale, Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Hastings, and Rochester.

Several organizations including the Navy Blue Angels and the Air Force Thunderbirds have been doing similar flyovers across the country to recognize health care workers and other front line workers that continue to work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
