Minnesota Target Stores to Close for One Day This Month
Making a "Target run" isn't just another errand on your list to grab essentials, for some, it's an adventure fueled by Starbucks and Target Circle deals.
If you're one of those people, you'll need to take a short break. Target has announced plans to close all of its Minnesota stores for just one day in a few weeks.

The Closure Comes at a Cost
Target has experienced its share of ups and downs over the last few years, so closing stores, even temporarily, could have financial implications. However, taking care of its team members remains a top priority for the Minnesota-based company.
With that in mind, Target has decided to close its stores for 24 hours on Sunday, April 20th, in observance of Easter Sunday.
Other Retailers Staying Open in Minnesota
Many major retailers are choosing to stay open this Easter. Stores like Walmart, Walgreens, Cub Foods, and Dollar General will keep their doors open on the holiday.

Target won't be alone. Membership retailers like Sam's Club and Costco, as well as stores like Aldi, T.J. Maxx, and Minnesota-based Best Buy, will also be closed on Easter Sunday.
Easter Closures Still Vary Year to Year
Unlike Christmas, when most major retailers shut down, Easter has a more hit-or-miss approach. Some stores close, while others stay open — hopefully, employees working that day receive holiday pay for missing out on the egg hunt.
