Three-Time Grammy-Winning Musical Act to Hold Concert After Minnesota Twins Game
The Minnesota Twins are once again bringing live music to Target Field this summer, with a three-time Grammy Award winner set to take the stage for a concert after a game this summer.
The team has made a tradition in recent years of bringing a handful of acts in each summer to put on a postgame concert for a few of their home games in Minneapolis. Baseball and some live music? Sounds like a fun summertime outing to me!
The Twins just announced one for the summer of 2025. Here's what you need to know.
Who is performing a concert after a Minnesota Twins game this summer?
The Twins announced on Monday, March 3 that award-winning rapper Nelly will be performing after a game this July!

Bursting onto the scene with his 2000 debut album Country Grammar, Nelly has scored multiple gold and platinum album certifications, three Grammy awards, nine Billboard Music Awards, and is among the best-selling hip hop performers in the genre's history.
When is the performance? What Twins game is it part of?
The show will be after the Minnesota Twins game against the Pirates on Friday, July 11.
The game starts at 7:10 pm, and the concert will start 20 minutes after the game is over. As the Twins put it in their official announcement about the concert, everyone with a ticket to the game is welcome to attend the show!
Just having a ticket to the game will get you free access to enjoy the show, but there are upgraded options to be aware of.
Does watching the concert cost extra?
The short answer is it doesn't if you don't want it to.
If you have a ticket to the game, you can stick around and watch Nelly perform after the game without paying anything extra beyond the cost of your ticket to go to the game. Regular tickets to the game are available via the Twins website for as little as around $30 plus taxes and fees, which works out to about $35.
If you want to upgrade to a VIP experience, the Twins are offering an upgrade package that includes on-field access. If you buy this VIP package, you'll need to pick up a wristband when you arrive to gain on-field access for the concert.
As of the time of this article being written, the combination game ticket & VIP experience starts at $84.50 (including taxes & fees) and goes up from there, depending on what game seats you want. The team says VIP experience tickets are limited, and they can be purchased here.
