NFL Legend Peyton Manning recreated some Minnesota Vikings history at the Mall of America with Ahmad Rashad.

Earlier this year Peyton Manning was spotted in Minnesota. Not only was he in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but he was also sporting a Minnesota Vikings jersey at the Mall of America. He also had a film crew with him and a lot of people were wondering what was going on.

Well, just about 11 months later, we have our answer.

Peyton wasn't here to just get some shopping done. He was filming his hit show 'Peyton's Places' and invited sportscaster and former Viking Ahmad Rashad. Ahmad was number 28 for the Vikes from 1976 - 1982.

He was traded from the then-new expansion team the Seattle Seahawks to Minnesota before the 1976 season for a future draft pick. Fun fact, the 1976 season was their last Super Bowl appearance.

What makes Ahmad notable as he was a part of Minnesota Vikings history in 1980. While trailing the Cleveland Browns, Vikings quarterback 'Two Minute' Tommy Kramer heaved a 'Hail Mary' pass to Ahmad that  resulted in a come-from-behind 28–23 victory and a Central Division title for Minnesota. That pass went on to be known as 'The Miracle at the Met'.

Peyton brought Ahmad back to the place where it all happened. The only issue was The Met no longer exists. In its place is now Nickelodeon Universe at The Mall of America.  So they made due and decided to recreate that special Vikings moment by throwing a Hail Mary while Ahmad rode the Log Chute ride.
