Park Point Sandmodeling and Water Safety Expo is this Thursday

It is going to be a scorcher on Thursday, so grab the water shoes, beach blanket and sunscreen and bring the kids out to Park Point for a day of fun!

The Duluth Parks and Recreation Department, Duluth YMCA and Sea Grant  have a fun day planned for this Thursday July 22nd for The Park Point Sandmodeling Contest and Water Safety Expo at the Park Point Beach House from 11:00 am -3:00 pm and it is FREE!

Kids of all ages are invited to participate to create sand models, play beach games and learn about water safety. Judging for the sandmodels will take place at 1:30. The Park Point Beach House is located at  5000 Minnesota Avenue on Park Point.
