Paws for Love Gala Coming in April

The Humane Society of Douglas County is throwing their 12th annual “Paws for Love” Gala Saturday, April 12th.

The fundraiser is at UW-Superiors Yellowjacket Union and will feature a live and silent auction, fine food, dessert auction, and entertainment.

homeless animals of Douglas County.”

The gala raised over $35,000 last year and all the funds go to the many services the Humane Society of Douglas County. Every animal that comes to them gets vaccinated, dewormed, and any necessary medical attention the animal requires.

Additionally, all animals are vet checked, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and temperament tested before being put up for adoption.
