See Inside Minnesota Twin Carlos Correa’s Amazing New Lake Home

While the Twins were wrapping up Spring Training, newly-signed shortstop Carlos Correa was celebrating by buying a $7.5 million home on Lake Minnetonka.

The Minnesota Twins ended up being able to keep two-time Major League Baseball All-Star, Carlos Correa (who played for the team in 2022) this off-season, signing him to a 6-year, $105 million contract.

And Carlos just spent about $7.5 million of that contract on some new digs on Lake Minnetonka. BringMeTheNews reports that the Twins shortstop closed on this amazing home in Orono back on March 1st. And, yeah, it's a pretty nice place!

According to Matt Johnson with Compass via Realtor.com, the home is located at 980 Heritage Lane in Orono. It's a 9,475 square-foot, 5-bed, 2.5-bath home that features over 200 feet of shoreline on swanky Lake Minnetonka. Check out how the property is described:

I guess when you're worth over $105 million, plunking down $7.5 million on a new house is kind of a drop in the bucket, right? Of course, Carlos isn't the only Minnesotan who will be moving into a new house, however.

Gov. Walz and his family are set to move into a lake home themselves later this spring; it's a place they'll be staying while the Governor's Mansion in St. Paul is being renovated. While Walz's temporary place on Sunfish Lake is pretty sweet, the new Correa place is definitely in a league of its own. (Which makes sense, seeing as it's also about three times as expensive!)
