For fans of Halloween, it can be an expensive season, from decorations, to costumes, to killer Halloween events, you could drop a lot of money in October, so this deal is a welcomed surprise.
Catch up with some old friends, Freddy, Jason, Michael, Ghostface, and the very moody Leatherface, in a month-long slasher classics marathon that starts this weekend.

The new "Slasher Classics Passport" available from Marcus Theatres will give horror fans access to 5 classic films for just $20 throughout the month of October at select theaters, it is available in the Twin Ports at the Lakes Cinema in Hermantown.
Fire Up the Chainsaw
The first opportunity to use the passport will be this weekend with 'The Texas Chain Saw Massacre', the movie is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and you'll have a chance to see it on the big screen, most likely for the first time ever, October 4th and 5th.
A Halloween Nightmare
Another classic slasher film celebrating a big anniversary is 'A Nightmare of Elm Street', that movie turns 40 this year, and it will be showing on October 11th and 12th.
Friday The 13th
Up next in the series of horror films is everyone's favorite hockey mask wearing slasher, Jason Voorhees. Check out 'Friday the 13th' from 1980 on October 18th and 19th.
Scream
The only film in this series made past 1984, is the 1996 movie that changed the horror game forever, and my favorite horror film, 'Scream'. Celebrate the spooky season with Ghostface on October 25th and 26th.
Halloween
Celebrate Halloween week and the end of the passport with the 1978 classic, 'Halloween', Michael Meyers will be waiting for you October 31st through November 2nd.
If you've never done one of the passport deals before, it fairly straight forward, after you buy your passport, you'll get a code that you can redeem for any of the showings, just like buying a ticket. There is a spot for you to copy and paste your code to easily redeem.
