The Californian pop-rock band is planning to make two different stops in Minnesota in 2023.

The band Train formed back in the early 90s and has released 11 studio albums. Their best charting song on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in the United States is their 2009 hit 'Hey, Soul Sister'. They are also known for hits such as 'Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)' from 2001, and their debut single from 1998 'Meet Virginia'.

They have had many band members throughout the year, however when you catch them on their 2023 tour, here is the current lineup:

  • Pat Monahan - Lead vocals, and percussion.
  • Jerry Becker - Keyboards, rhythm guitar, and backing vocals.
  • Hector Maldonado - Bass, and backing vocals.
  • Taylor Locke - Lead guitar, and backing vocals.
  • Matt Musty - Drums, and percussion.
  • Nikita Houston - Backing vocals.
  • Sakai Smith - Backing vocals.

Not only will the band began touring on March 17th, 2023, they will be making two stops in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Their first stop in Minnesota will be at The Bluestem Center for the Arts Amphitheatre in Moorhead on August 5th. They will be with another band that started in the 90s, Better Than Ezra.

Their second stop in Minnesota this year will be on September 11th at the Surly Brewing Festival Field in Minneapolis. This time around they will be with the country band Parmalee.

Tickets for the Moorhead show went on sale this past Friday. Tickets for the Minneapolis show will go on sale this Friday, March 17th. The group has also won multi-Grammy awards and Billboard Music awards.
