This Haunted Cemetery Is Just A One-Hour Drive From Duluth

I was doing some research on haunted cemeteries in Minnesota after passing a very creepy one by my house the other day. I quickly realized how many "haunted" locations there are across the Northland and the state.

One that caught my attention is Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery. It's located just about an hour from Duluth and it has a creepy backstory.

According to OnlyInYourState.com, there is a legend that a hitchhiking ghost haunts the area. At this spooky site, the hitchhiker is "rumored to be a teenage girl who was left in the cemetery many years ago." Ahhhhh.
