Winter is a great time to get under a warm blanket and enjoy some good books and the Duluth and Superior libraries have some programs to incentivize winter reading.

The Duluth Library's kick off their winter reading program this Saturday with an event at the Main Library from 2 PM - 4 PM for K-5th grades. There will be a variety of fun craft events including water coloring and splatter painting.

Also, while you're there sign up for the winter reading program for a chance to win some weekly and grand prizes. Plus, kids who complete the 10-hour reading challenge will get a free book and be entered into grand prize drawings. Get more details and register at.duluthlibrary.org.

Superior also has a winter reading program for kids and adults, stop by the Youth Services desk for information and adults can pick up a reading log at the Circulation Desk, simply read 5 books by March 30th, and you'll get a Superior Public Library tote bag and be entered to win some prizes! You can get more information here.
