Look at the stars with the help of some real pros at a free stargazing event hosted by UW-Superior.

The University of Wisconsin-Superior's Lake Superior Research Institute and the Natural Sciences Department will host the event on Friday, August 9th starting at 8 PM.

The event will kick off with a "presentation on constellations in the current night sky with Jim Lattis, director of UW Space Place and faculty associate in the Department of Astronomy at UW-Madison."

After that, everyone will move outside (bring your bug spray) near Barstow Hall to enjoy the night sky from a telescope and the UW-Superior observatory with help from university staff.

The event is free, but registration is required and you can do that and get more information here.
