The University of Wisconsin-Superior announced on Monday that their summer courses would all take place online. The decision was made after consultation with the University of Wisconsin system of colleges. They feel it is the best practice to ensure safety of students during COVID-19.

Many of the summer courses were already in an online format for the 2020 year. 24 courses that were scheduled to take place on campus will be now offered online instead. Today, April 6th is the day that students can begin registering for summer classes. UWS has also waived the two week waiting period that normally is in place for on campus students.

The college has not made a decision yet about other programs or events this summer, but promise a decision to come soon.
