Handing Out Pizza to the Homeless
Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy joined content creator Josh Liljenquist to buy over a dozen pizzas from a local Twin Cities pizzeria and hand out the fresh pies to the local homeless population.
Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy Joins Popular YouTuber
McCarthy and Liljenquist (JoshLilj) stopped by OG ZAZA, located in Rosedale Center in Roseville, MN, and requested 1,000 pizzas. Being a small pizza joint in a mall, they didn’t have the ability to fulfill such a large order, but they quickly whipped up 13 pizzas for the duo.

McCarthy’s Big Gesture
The pizzeria owner offered McCarthy a deal of $150 for the pizzas, but instead, McCarthy paid far more than the $150 price tag, giving the pizzeria a stack of NFL Draft first-rounder cash.
Ready for the Upcoming Season
McCarthy is more than likely to be the starting QB for the Vikings next season. He missed his rookie season after tearing his meniscus in the preseason. However, all indications suggest the QB will be ready to go next season.
