The 729-foot  Algoma Guardian was battling its way through the Duluth ship canal when the storm began early Thursday morning.

Security cameras at the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center caught the entire battle and posted it to YouTube. Fair warning, I'm pretty sure watching the video doesn't give what actually happened on the ship justice, but you can see how unruly the storm was. Three times during the storm, the Lift Bridge's gauge clocked 80mph winds. Check out the video above and you can see photos of the damage the storm caused in other ares of the Twin Ports here.
