The Internet has a wealth of valuable knowledge, but is also home to a lot of strange things. Take, for example, a website with a sole purpose of guessing what song you were conceived to. It's kind of a gross thought, right?

The website -- titled "Porktrack" (how clever) -- simply asks you to plug in your birth date, and whether or not you were born prematurely (to calculate differences in the site's complex math equation), and it dishes up the most popular song around the time of your conception. The site even offers a YouTube video of the song, so you can listen to your "Porktrack".

The site relies on Billboard's Top 40 charts, so if your mom and dad weren't fans of pop music, the site is less apt to guess your song.

For the sake of this blog, I found out what my "Porktrack" was. I can report Wham!'s "Careless Whisper" is what the website believes to be the most likely option when it comes to the babymaking song that was on the stereo back in the mid 1980's when I went from twinkle in the eye to baby Nick Cooper. The fact that it is that particular song gives an extra level of "eww". I guess I should consider myself lucky, because the Miami Vice theme song was also big on the charts around that timeframe...and that would just be strange. Madonna's "Like a Virgin" was also huge that year, and I just don't want to go there.

Anyway, you can find out your "Porktrack" by hitting the button below. For the more mischievous among you, I dare you to ask your parents if the website was right. It'll make for great conversation over dinner at Thanksgiving.
