Why I Love My Xoom! A Review Of The Motorola Xoom.

Have you seen this thing yet?  Verizon Wireless has come out with their very own tablet to rival the Pear Pad.  (Sorry, I have kids.  That's an iCarly reference in case you didn't catch it.)  It's everything I want my phone to do...but bigger and MORE!  It's the Motorola Xoom.  My new best friend.  Whether I'm playing Angry Birds Rio, (not during business hours of course,) or Words With Friends, (the letters actually go where you want them to,) I don't have to squint.  I can play music and follow recipes from my kitchen without dragging in my laptop.  (It's been awhile since I've actually used a cookbook.)  It has a really cool feature with the camera.  It takes pictures and video, but the coolest part about the camera--there's one on both sides!  It's a 2MP in the front, and 5MP in the rear--with flash!  So yes, you can take a video of yourself or others, and upload it right to youtube, facebook, or email!  See...that's me!  I took it myself! :)

If you're a techie kind of person, the Motorola Xoom has an HD 10" 16:9 screen, and is only 12.9mm thick!  It uses the Android Honeycomb, and can connect on wi-fi or 3G.  If you're not a techie, it's light and compact, and can do anything your clunky laptop can do...but faster and anywhere you get phone service.   Read Google books, turn it into a wi-fi hotspot...I could keep going, but I'm itching to play a little more Words With Friends.  Ooh, and Angry Birds Rio.  And check my email.  And watch the Water For Elephants trailer.  (Robert Pattinson alert!)  And listen to my new favorite album, Florence + the Machine's Lungs.  All at once!

Now if only my Xoom would do the laundry and close the toilet seat...
