If you've wanted to check out this fun Wisconsin fall lights festival but just haven't had the time, worry not! Organizers announced they are extending their 2024 season!

Earlier this fall, I wrote about the China Lights Wisconsin Festival, an annual fall event in southeastern Wisconsin, held each year since 2016. It's the only event of its kind in the Upper Midwest, showing off beautiful LED-lit lantern sculptures that include things like a lantern flower tunnel, zodiac lanterns, a giant "Dragon King" sculpture to honor the Year of the Dragon, and more!

Hosted at the Boerner Botanical Gardens in the Milwaukee area, this is kind of reminiscent of walk-through holiday light shows like Duluth's Bentleyville or Sam's Christmas Village in Somerset, but this experience is inspired by Chinese culture and uses beautiful lantern creations for the scenes you experience for your walk.

I had the chance to check out the 2023 China Lights Wisconsin Festival, and it was a really fun time!

Their website announced that they will now be open for another week, running through Saturday, November 2.

Hours for their extended season will remain the same as they have been since it opened in September. The light displays are open every day except for Mondays. Visitors purchase tickets for a timed entry slot, with the first visitors welcome at 5 pm, and the final group of visitors welcomed at 8 pm.

Visitors can stay as long as they'd like after they arrive, up until the attraction closes for the night at 10 pm.

If you're considering checking out this attraction, I highly recommend it as a memorable date night or a magical family experience. You can read my review from my 2023 visit here.
