Today back in 1994 we remember Brandon Lee's final film 'The Crow', the Denver Nuggets beating all odds and one of Stone Temple Pilot's biggest hits.

The fantasy action film 'The Crow' opened at number one at the box office this weekend and was based off James O'Barr's comic book of the same name. The film was about about a rock musician who is revived from the dead to avenge the murder of his fiance. The film starred Brandon Lee, son of actor and martial arts master Bruce Lee who unfortunately died while filming and the movie was dedicated to him (Brandon Lee) and his family.

In sports news, the Denver Nuggets became the first number eight seed to beat a number one seed in the NBA playoffs as they knocked off the Seattle SuperSonics.

Stone Temple Pilots released one of their biggest hits, 'Interstate Love Song'. The song was about lead singer Scott Weiland's relationship troubles, honesty, and his battling addiction with drugs. The song stayed at number at one on the modern rock tracks for 15 weeks and even reached the number 18 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
