The Great Minnesota Get-Together just added even more things to do at this years State Fair. From new competitions to History On-A-Schtick, there will be more than enough things to do this year.

The Minnesota Fair has everything on a stick, so why not add Math On-A-Stick. Kids and adults can explore fun math concepts at the fair with a scavenger hunt and other fun games located at Baldwin Park. Continuing with On-A-Stick fun, History On-A-Schtick  provides a fun family atmosphere with plays, music and trivia located at Schell's Stage at Schilling Amphitheater.

The Mighty Midway also added two new rides: New York New York Fun House and the Super Nova Roller Coaster. The Fun House is four stories high with wacky hallways, mirrors, slides and more. Super Nova adds to the excitement as any roller coaster would with making it's Minnesota Debut.

Also, Carousel Park has added two special days. Figure Skating Day will be held on August 31st in honor of St. Paul hosting the 2016 U.S. Figure Skating Championships where people have to chance to meet and greet with Olympic Gold Medalist Kristi Yamaguchi and national figure skater, choreographer, and Minnesota native  Rohene Ward. And Hmong Minnesota Day will be held on September 7th to celebrate the culture, history, and Hmong Americans since arriving in Minnesota over 40 years ago.

Free sunscreen is now being offered in dispensers at every information booth which is definitely an added bonus.
