The popular Marvel comic book series has been in the works for years and brings together the superhero talents of "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger".
This weekend, two new movie releases at our local Marcus Theatres will try to dethrone ‘Harry Potter’ as king of the box office – one about a patriotic super-hero, the other about two friends who think they can actually make casual sex work.
The first is ‘Captain America: The First Avenger.’ In the film, Chris Evans plays Steve Rogers, a scrawny guy who volunteers for a top-secret scientific experiment that transforms his body and enables him to join the US Army in its crusade against the Nazis.
March 25, 2011 Today, movie fans are being treated to the full-length trailer for Marvel's hotly anticipated flick 'Captain America: The First Avenger.'
The brand-new preview offers a better glimpse of the story, which follows protagonist Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), a scrawny Army recruit who participates in an experimental program that transforms his body and allows him to become Captain America.
The trailer also shows a bit more of Captain America's nemesis, The Red Skull (Hugo Weaving), who already has us shaking in our boots.
