Several public parking lots and ramps are available in the vicinity of Downtown Duluth and in limited places along the earlier parts of the course for spectators to use as a part of Grandma's Marathon.
If you follow the local news, or you've parked in Downtown Duluth this spring, you are probably aware of a parking experiment that involves a new way to pay for parking on streets in Canal Park or Downtown.
Grandma's Marathon draws thousands of visitors to Duluth each summer, and all of those thousands of people need a place to park. In addition to the traditional places offered for parking, the City of Duluth has announced they will offer more options to residents and visitors participating or watching the race.
Fans and racers will be coming from all over the country for the 2014 Benna Ford Roush Superior Watercross Shootout, August 16th and 17th at Barker's Island in Superior, WI. Get directions and all the parking information here.
