AMSOIL Arena Debuts New Foods Before 2018-2019 Hockey Season [VIDEO]
As AMSOIL Arena gets ready to welcome fans back for the 2018-2019 hockey season, the food staff unveiled a series of new food items that will be available at the various concessions areas this year. Amy Carlson, Director of Food Service at the DECC, led a media event Thursday that highlighted nine new offerings that will satisfy even the hungriest of fans.
Staff with the DECC conducted surveys and fielded requests to decide on this year's new offerings, and relied on taste tests among hundreds of staff members to refine the new items before making the decision to bring them to the public.
Along with new items, the food staff is excited to announce that the Friday night Fish Fry will also be available on Saturday nights this year and other favorites like the New York Strip Sandwich and the Grilled Cheese with Tomato Basil Dipper will also remain on the menu.
Beside with those items and the new offerings (detailed below), the media was reminded that beer and wine will be served during men's hockey games at AMSOIL Arena this year for the first time in the arena's history. For families and others that want to enjoy the game without alcohol, there will be a designated family section where no alcohol will be permitted.
Some of the staff from the radio station had the opportunity to sample the foods, and you can see our reviews in the video at the top of this page. Here is the full roster of new food offerings for this season at AMSOIL Arena:
