I love live music, and when I can catch a show outdoors, it's just that much better! I've been sharing all sorts of live outdoor music options for this summer, including the first season of concerts at the new Mystic Lake Amphitheater and shows at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand and Wisconsin Main Stage.

As someone who has lived in the Twin Ports area for so many years, when live music opportunities pop up right here at home, it's even better!

From shows at Bayfront like the Grandma's Rock The Bayfront event to other shows around Duluth, Superior, and elsewhere around the Northland, we're getting a look at options around our area as summer approaches.

One of the annual music traditions in Duluth each year is the Music in the Park concert series that's traditionally hosted at Chester Park by the City of Duluth's Parks & Recreation Department. This year, it is being moved to Lincoln Park due to some construction.

Despite the change in venue, it still looks like it is going to be an awesome summer full of music (in the park)! Even better, each of these Tuesday night shows are free to attend! Just bring a chair or blanket to sit on, and if you want, a food truck will be on site to enjoy dinner, too.

The 2026 lineup was just announced today, with shows on nine different dates on the schedule for this summer.

13 Places a Duluthian Would Be Ashamed to Admit They've Never Been

For anyone who has lived in Duluth for longer than a week, there are certain things you'd be afraid to admit you've never done or places you've never been to be considered a true local.
