Attention all hearty Northlanders we need your to help raise money for Special Olympics of Minnesota, and all you have to do is jump in Lake Superior...in February...no big deal.

The Polar Bear Plunge is an annual event sponsored by Minnesota Law Enforcement that takes place at various times in February all across the State of Minnesota. But to jump into Lake Superior is truly a badge of honor and that is why people from all over the Midwest come to Duluth to do it.

All you have to do is get a team together of any size, get some pledges and you will be handsomely rewarded with some cool Plunge Incentive prizes, and knowing you did something awesome for these incredible Special Olympic Athletes.

The Polar Bear Plunge is an all day festival with registration and Pre-Party at Grandmas Sports Garden with free shuttles to the plunge site in Canal Park. We have a Pre-Plunge 5K at 9am with the actual plunge starting at Noon. Then continue the fun back at Grandmas Sports Garden .
