A terrific campaign is about to get underway in Duluth which will not only be of great benefit to those in the community, but will also please craft beer lovers everywhere.

"Pay It Forward", an event created with the help of Bent Paddle Brewing Co., Bell Bank, The Miller-Dwan Foundation and Amberwing: Center for Youth and Family Well-Being, is a true win-win situation.

The ultimate goal of the entire campaign is to draw awareness and financial support to Amberwing and its mission through a fundraising campaign that kicks off at Bent Paddle Brewing Co. in Duluth on Thursday, November 4.

According to their website, Amberwing - Center for Youth & Family Well-Being was "created by the Miller-Dwan Foundation to provide the greatest level of compassion and skill, in the most welcoming of healing environments. Set in a restful wooded area, Amberwing brings together the combined resources of a community philanthropy and a health system to create a national model for effective mental health care."

Facilities and related programs such as this cost money and here is where "Pay It Forward" comes in.

First, Bent Paddle Co. created the Pay It Forward Pale Ale specifically for this campaign. Bell Bank also got financially involved. Beginning November 4, for every upcharged growler or crowler of Pay It Forward Pale Ale purchased, $5 will go back to Amberwing and customers will receive a limited edition Bell Bank + Bent Paddle Aluminum Pint Cup as a thank you for the donation.

On top of that, Bell Bank is donating $1 for each pint purchased back to the non-profit. This Pay It Forward Pale Ale fundraiser will continue through the month of November or until the beer is gone.

The "Pay It Forward" kick-off event is Thursday, November 4 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Bent Paddle in Duluth, which is located at 1832 W. Michigan Street.

Guests at the "Pay It Forward" event will have the opportunity to participate in a fun raffle and there will be on-site food for purchase via the El Oasis Del Norte taco truck. Live music will also be a part of the event, with Gavin St. Clair scheduled to perform.

What Are the Signature Drinks From Every State?

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
