With this first major storm of the season on Monday, many kids across the state enjoyed a extra long weekend courtesy of Mother Nature, but one school in St. Cloud, MN said not so fast.

Apparently students at St. Cloud Cathedral High School are all issued Mac Book Air laptops through the school, so the administration decided to test out their online classroom starting Monday. By 10 a.m. the teachers had the sessions up and ready and students were told to report on line through an app.

Cathedral President  Michael Mulllin said he didn't know If he felt bad about taking away the snow day, because now kids won't have to wonder in June If they will have to make up the day they missed. So kids, hang onto that childhood tradition as long as you can, because technology will be doing away with snow days for everybody soon.
