It'll cost you more to flush that toilet if a proposed rate increase passes.  An increase of 4.5% is on the table for homeowners within the City of Duluth for the sanitary storm sewer part of their utility bill.

In advance of that proposed rate increase, the Duluth Public Utilities Commission is holding a public meeting.  Similar to many Duluth government meetings since the COVID-19 Pandemic started, this meeting will be held in a virtual fashion on Tuesday, September 21 - starting at 5:15 PM.  The public hearing will be held at the start of the regularly-scheduled Commission meeting.
