Ice Cream that Can Help You Beat the Flu

The genius behind this should get an award.  And ice cream that helps you beat influenza?  Sign me up!  One of the flavors from Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams includes Influenza Sorbet!  You may want to keep this one away from the kids though.  Apparently this one boasts the flu-fighting powers of cayenne pepper, ginger, Maker's Mark bourbon, honey, orange and lemon juices.

Apparently Jenni's mom and grandma made a concoction that consisted of a mug of hot whiskey with honey and lemon juice, then sent the patient straight to bed.  Jeni took that model for her sorbet!
