Lizzo Is Returning To Minnesota With A Show In September

Lizzo is going to be showing some love to her fans in Minnesota with a concert set for September 11 at Treasure Island Resort and Casino in Welch MN. This will be her first concert here since the pandemic hit, and tickets are sure to sell out fast!

Lizzo has not been on tour for quite a while but will be headlining the Bonaroo Music Festival that we have been giving a MIX 108 listener a chance to win tickets too on September 2 in Nashville. According to her 2021 Touring schedule this is the only show besides Bonnaroo that is listed so this is quite the occasion.

The last time Lizzo was in Minnesota was back in 2019 for two sold out shows at the Armory in Minneapolis. Lizzo who's real name is Melissa Jefferson was born in Detroit and moved to Houston where she grew up. She moved to Minneapolis and became a made quite the impression in the music scene before releasing her break out and Grammy winning album "Because I Love You!"

For fans like myself she can often be seen on Tik Tok dancing and showing off her favorite vegan dishes and some fashion favorites. She also recently posted a video on showing off her bleach blond eye brows, which seems to be the new thing to do in Hollywood with other stars following suit like Katy Perry.

Lizzo is expected to be releasing a new album this fall. According to Bring Me The News tickets for her September show go on sale Tuesday July 7 at 10am.
