Proctor DECA Students and Local Rotary Going For Snow Angels World Record for Charity
The beauty of living in a cold climate, falling back into some fresh snow and waving your arms and legs to make a beautiful snow angel. Of course it is easier to do with someone to pull you up to keep it pristine, but all the same, still a cool thing, and now a potential Guinness Book of World Record. Some DECA students from Proctor and Rotary of Duluth Club 25 will be holding a fundraiser on February 9th at UMD to raise money for Global Team for Local Initiatives, an organization that supports the indigenous people in Ethiopia . The event will feature 9,0000 people simultaneously making snow angels in an attempt to break a Guinness Book of World Record!
Tickets can be purchased at www.makeyourmarkduluth.com and the Make your Mark: Angels for a Cause Facebook page. Let it Snow !
