The Superior Public Library is making their services available to the general public even as their doors close due to the COVID-19 response.  The library has announced that they will start Curbside Pickup to allow people the option of getting their resource and entertainment materials.

The service will be available weekdays:  Monday through Thursday from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 PM and on Friday's from 12 Noon to 5:00 PM.  People looking to take advantage of the service call the librarians at 715-394-8860 to request the items.  When they're ready for pickup, a call will be made to arrange a time for you to drive up to the library; staff will bring the items right out to your vehicle.  Patrons can also arrange holds on items using the online catalog at superiorlibrary.org.

In addition to the Curbside Pickup, the Superior Public Library is passing along the following information to the public and its patrons:

  • Due dates have been updated to reflect the closure and no items will be due while the library is closed.
  • Patrons who have items checked out should not attempt to return them in the outdoor book drop; the library is asking people to hold on to them until it reopens.
  • Wisconsin's Digital Library, the resources found on Badgerlink, and online courses via Gale Courses are available as always. There are links to these resources on the Superior Public Library's website; click here for details.

Whether it's for education or for entertainment, you'll find a wide variety of items that are free to check out at the library - no matter what age or interest.  From books to DVD's, CD's to games - there's something for everyone.
