The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week is a cat named Gerald. He is a brown tabby Domestic Longhair who is 7 years old. Gerald was found as a stray in St. Louis County and is now looking for his new loving home! Don't let his grumpy frown deceive you, he is actually full of love, and he enjoys watching the world from his perch and receiving chin scratches from his favorite human.

* Gerald is FIV positive, so he is looking for a home with no other cats unless they are also FIV positive! The staff at Animal Allies will explain in detail what this is and how to handle it so do not be alarmed. Gerald is neutered, vet checked, micro-chipped and updated on all his shots. Our Adoption Center is closed to the public but we will continue to provide essential services to support animals in need, including:

Stray Services; from our contracted jurisdictions (Rice Lake, Proctor, Hermantown and Southern St. Louis County) and transfers from City of Duluth Animal Control.

Intake & Surrender Services; are available for emergency surrenders by appointment only. All appointments must be approved by our Intake Specialist or Adoption Manager.

Pets in Our Shelter; Care and medical treatment for animals in our shelters

Adoptions by appointment only; Please visit our website to see our available animals and call to learn about our non-contact adoption process. Adoption appointments can be scheduled by calling 218-722-5341.
