The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week is a bit of a rarity, only because they are usually adopted so quickly. A Kitten named Abu is waiting for a new loving home. He is a 4 month old grey domestic short hair/mix kitten. Abu has been neutered, micro chipped, vet checked and vaccinated.

According to Daryl from Animal Allies he does suffer from a medical condition which the adoption staff can discuss with you at length if you are interested in adopting him. Starting tomorrow the shelter will be back open to the public so it won't be necessary to make an appointment first before you come out to look at a certain animal. But some restrictions remain in place.

If you are interested in adopting Abu, please call the adoption team at 218-722-5341 for more information! The adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm, and Sunday from 10:30am-4:00pm. The adoption process is first come first serve so whoever reaches the staff first will have the opportunity to place a hold.

Besides being given a goody bag starter kit with every adoption, The shelter also has a very well stocked supply of all kinds of items for your new pet ranging from collars to toys. And mark your calendars for the Annual Walk For Animals that is back this year on a new day and new location, This is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the shelter so any type of participation is greatly appreciated.
