Congratulations to the Minnesota Twins who have slid into the post season 2 years in a row, which has revived the traditional Homer Hanky which is actually a towel unlike the original ones form the late 80's. Either way the symbolism is the same as these were waved high in the air during the games cheering on our beloved Minnesota Twins.

If you happen to be in Minneapolis you can purchase them at the team store at Target Field starting today, the limit is 20 per person. Or they are available at some Cub Foods stores or of course the Star Tribune website. They are priced at $3.00 each.

This years design features a small home at the bottom to indicate home field advantage and acknowledge that most fans will have to watch the game from their homes versus out at Target Field. Twins spokesman Matt Hodson said to KARE11:

Fans watched at home this season, so we worked in a home right there in the middle of our beloved state. We wanted to make sure in this unique year, fans still had the ability to have this physical, tangible piece of Twins playoff baseball.
