If you're traveling in the Hermantown area, be on the lookout for separate water related projects that will temporarily limit access to two roads.

According to Hermantown city officials, a water connection project will impact a small portion of Maple Grove Road to the south of Lavaque Road.  A larger project involves restoration work on one of Hermantown’s water towers, which will limit access to Hawk Circle from Arrowhead Road.

The Maple Grove Road project will limit traffic to single lanes in each direction and is set to be completed before July 15. The water tower work will take from 6-8 weeks, but Hawk Circle will still be accessible from Ugstad Road during the project.

Allow yourself extra time if traveling in those areas and take it slow as there will likely be workers out in the open.
