Wisconsin Had Over 70 UFO Sightings Reported In 2025 – Here’s Where

The number of annual reported UFO sightings in Wisconsin shot up dramatically in 2025 over the last couple of years prior.

Data collected by the self-reporting National UFO Reporting Center website saw a 48% jump in sightings to a total of 74 in 2025, compared to 50 in 2024. This continues a trend of growing reported sightings, though the increase from 2023 to 2024 was not as dramatic.

To be clear, some of these reports are simply unexplainable sightings in the sky, and others are hard-to-identify objects that the team at NUFORC later was able to help explain or identify. Others yet have no clear explanation at all, with some reports being pretty wild.

Just like in 2024, there were reports from all across Wisconsin, but Northern Wisconsin saw the fewest reports when compared to other parts of the state.

Notable 2025 Northern Wisconsin sightings include reports from Superior, Solon Springs, Presque Isle, Hayward, and Rhinelander.

When it comes to when the most UFO sightings were reported, January was the biggest month for reports in 2025, with 14. June saw the second-highest number of reports in 2025, with 9.
