If you are finding yourself yearning for longer, warmer days, I have some good news for you!

While I can't make any promises about warmer weather anytime soon, I can tell you that the days will get significantly longer across Wisconsin this month, with a lot of additional daylight being added.

I know, this happens every year, but it's something I get kind of excited about. After we hit the shortest day of the year in late December, we start adding daylight little by little through the rest of winter and into springtime.

While we're still in the early stages of growing our amount of daylight until we get into June when Wisconsin sees the longest day of the year, the Badger State does see some pretty significant increases in how much daylight we get just this month alone.

How much daylight will Wisconins add during February?

As a northern state, Wisconsin sees a pretty drastic increase in daylight added in February. Even within the state, the amount of daylight varies a lot, with places like Superior adding more than 10 minutes of additional daylight than places in Southern Wisconsin during February.
