Edina Minnesota based Dairy Queen Corporation was the latest victim to a data breach by hackers, and some customers are at risk for their financial information getting into the wrong hands.

395 Dairy Queen stores across the country were impacted by the same malware that hit Target and Home Depot, and 18 Minnesota stores including Cloquet at 1402 Hwy. 33 S. were affected.  According to Citypages.com Dairy Queen president and CEO John Gainor announced yesterday in a statement that the data breach included customers' names, payment card numbers, and expiration dates. They are not sure if any other information was compromised.

Dairy Queen is offering free identity repair services for anyone who visited one of their stores during the data breach.
