The Animal Allies Pet's of the week are Rick and Rambo a bonded pair of Chihuahua's. That means they have to be adopted together. For some it may seem overwhelming to adopt 2 dogs at once but they are so tiny they basically add up to one small/medium size dog.

Rick is a tan Chihuahua mix who is 3 years old, and Rambo is a tan and white Chihuahua mix who is 4 years old. Being someone who has a chihuahua I can give you some insight on these awesome dogs. They think they are very tough and tend to bark at strangers and other dogs, they hear everything I mean look at those ears! They are very loyal to their humans, great lap dogs who can be very sweet and affectionate. Perfect pet for a small apartment and they do not need very much exercise. I would not recommend this breed if you have very small kids as they are so small and have tiny little legs. Small children might tend to pick them up a lot and drop them like a cat which could cause leg and back injuries. Over all they are physically tough dogs for their size and so cute.

Rick and Rambo have been neutered, vet checked, micro chipped and updated on all their shots. Also when you adopt them you get the other dog at half price. These two dogs are guaranteed to bring you so much love and joy, and hats off to Animal Allies who refuse to separate them as that would be so sad and traumatic for them. Animal Allies is located at 4006 Airport Road. You must call ahead to make an appointment to see any of the Animals. The phone number is  (218) 722-5341 or check out their website.
