Chilly Billy’s Announces Delay To Grand Opening For Superior Location
Earlier this summer, we shared that the popular Twin Ports area frozen yogurt shop is expanding across the bridge to Superior.
The new Chilly Billy's location in Superior will be more like their Miller Hill Mall shop in the sense that they will just offer frozen yogurt-related goodies, and not an expanded food menu like their new Woodland location.
As the new owners shared the news of a third Twin Ports area location, they also created a Facebook event for a grand opening celebration, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, September 3.
That date has obviously come and gone, but the business has not yet held its grand opening.
Why was the Chilly Billy's Superior grand opening delayed?
As they explained in their updated Facebook event some construction delays have led to a need to push back the grand opening date for their new Superior location.

They will be opening in the old Boxtronics location in the Tower Avenue Plaza in Superior, which is in the same complex as Tires Plus, Vision Pro Optical, and Taco John's.
When is the new grand opening date?
While WDIO is reporting they have not yet specified a new grand opening date, the Chilly Billy's Facebook event for their grand opening is now listing Saturday, October 19.
The event posting says the opening celebration will be from noon to 9:30 pm on October 19.
What is planned for the grand opening celebration?
Chilly Billy's says they plan to offer a lot of deals and giveaways to customers who show up to celebrate the grand opening.
Among those giveaways include things like free Chilly Billy's stickers to the first 500 people, some free orders being given away at random throughout the day, and Chilly Billy's merchandise giveaways. In addition, they'll be offering discounts like buy one, get one half off on frozen yogurt or acai bowls.
