One of Minnesota's biggest names in the music industry, Yung Gravy, has announced the return of his signature event, Gravy Fest, to Minneapolis this fall.

In 2024, Gravy launched the very first Gravy Fest by turning the final show of his “Grits & Gravy Tour” into a massive party. That night featured artists like Waka Flocka Flame, Freddie Dredd, and more, capped off by an electrifying headlining set from Gravy himself.

Now, the sequel is set: Gravy Fest 2 will take place on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, November 26, at The Armory in Minneapolis. This year’s lineup includes Pouya, 1900RUGRAT, Melly Mike, Pertinence, and additional guests still to be announced.

The all-ages event is expected to draw thousands of fans from across Minnesota and the Midwest. Tickets are on presale now through select outlets, with the general public sale beginning Friday, August 22, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.

The Largest Minnesota Wildfires In Modern History

While Minnesota has experienced even larger, more devastating fires like the 350,00-acre Hinckley Fire in 1884 of the 250,000-acre Cloquet-Moose Lake Fire in 1918, fires have thankfully been relatively smaller in more modern times.

Even though these more modern fires have been smaller, largely due to better firefighting capabilities, many have still been devastating and destructive. Here's a look at Minnesota's largest wildfires since 2007 based on information from the Minnesota Incident Command System.
