Apparently, after you have competed in the Olympics on a world stage and helped your USA gymnastics team take home the gold throwing out a pitch at a Major League baseball game is no big deal. That seems like the case for Suni Lee who was back home in the Twin Cities and had the honor to throw out the first pitch of the Minnesota Twins and Toronto Blue Jays Game.

Can you imagine the stories that Lee will tell when she returns to college at Auburn this Fall? At the tender age of 19 she has accomplished quite a bit and now she can add this to her resume. So given the fact that Lee is a gymnast she had to have known about her former Olympic teammate Simone Biles doing a massive flip before she tossed out the first pitch? Lee did not disappoint either.

As you can see in the tweet below she did a few warm-up flips for the Twins staff before she hit the field.

Lee made history as the first Hmong-American Olympian and continues to compete in gymnastics at Auburn University. Her back story made headlines during the 2020 Olympics and she continues to inspire people all over the world.

Fortunately for Lee, she will go down in the books as one of the most stunning first pitches on record versus the numerous blooper first pitches we have witnessed and all they had to do was throw the ball to the catcher. From the roar of the crowd after her pitch Twins fans most likely left Target Field pretty happy despite the loss to the Blue Jays.
