More than 400 athletes over the age of 50 will compete at the Senior Games in St. Cloud, MN this weekend.

This is the first time the Senior Games will be taking place in St. Cloud and the ages range from 50 to even 100. There are 21 events to participate in from cycling to archery to track and field. According to St. Cloud Times the Senior Games are happening today through Sunday. Director of sports and special events in St. Cloud, Kelly Sayre said "It's a reminder you can be active at any age and you're never too old to be competitive."

This event also gives competitors a chance to see how they do before Nationals taking place in the cities in July. I think this is an awesome idea and I'll definitely compete when I turn 50. Comment below and let me know what you think of the Senior Games.
