Taco Bell Is Coming To Superior! See What It Will Look Like This Summer
People have been craving Taco Bell in Superior for quite some time. Recently speculation was that a Taco Bell was going to take over the food area at Superior's Walmart after the Subway restaurant closed. However, that is not the case. People began to notice construction on a different parcel of land just down the road. After some investigating, taco lover dreams are coming true.
Groundwork began recently on a small parcel of land in front of Ravin Crossbows on Tower Avene. The site is 3541 Tower Avenue, and it's listed as being owned by Marvin Development V, LLC. Marvin Development is from New Hope, Minnesota and as of 2015 was listed as being owned by Taco Bell franchisees Lee & Jeff Engler.
I've reached out to the City of Superior to verify any information they can give us about the possible Taco Bell location. Jason Serck, Economic Development, Planning & Port Director confirmed that it will be a Taco Bell and ground broke last week.
Another source has also shared the info. Nor-Son Construction Based out of Baxter Minnesota shared that they began work on building a new Taco Bell. Here's what it will look like:
To further bring proof that it REALLY is happening, a search of Taco Bell careers found many openings for the Superior location at 3541 Tower Avenue. They currently have openings for Shift Leaders, Crew Members, an Assistant General Manager, a Restaurant General Manager, cooks, and cashiers. You can apply online at Taco Bell's career page. Several people have already been hired for positions at the new location.
Taco Bell is set to open "this summer" in Superior, so Mexican fast-food fans don't have to wait long. Of course, you can make the drive to the Duluth locations in the meantime at 1031 W Central Entrance or 201 North 44th Avenue West.
