The divorce between the Minnesota Twins and their longtime television partner is now complete. This is leaving fans used to turning to what was once FOX Sports North (later sold and renamed Bally Sports North, then FanDuel Sports Network North) looking for where games can be found now.

The team has been promoting the new direct-to-consumer streaming platform called Twins.TV, but details have been scant about what traditional cable & satellite channel fans would be able to watch on.

While some fans might opt for the new $19.99/month Twins.TV option to watch games, the good news for those with more traditional TV packages is that you can still watch games without paying for another streaming service - depending on what your current cable/satellite/streaming TV provider is.

What TV channel are Minnesota Twins games on now?

The short answer is that it varies, depending on who your provider is. The team (and Major League Baseball) are now in direct control of the production and distribution of game TV broadcasts aside from select national games on channels like FOX or ESPN.

The team/league worked deals with a bunch of individual cable and satellite providers to give fans access to games on the more traditional platform, albeit on a new channel.

Unlike when games were part of 24-hour programming on Bally Sports North, some of these providers are offering a designated channel just for games, which goes dark when games aren't happening. Again, it varies depending on the provider what else might be on that channel at any given time.

Here are some of the major providers and what channel games are found on: DirecTV: Channel 668

  • Charter/Spectrum: Channel 468
  • Xfinity/Comcast: Channel 1261
  • Midcontinent: Channel 638
  • Paul Bunyan Televison: Channel 58/558

As of right now, there are no deals to provide games on the following popular cable/satellite platforms:

  • DISH Network
  • Mediacom:
  • Consolidated Communications

Are Minnesota Twins games available on streaming TV providers?

Being the Twins are offering games on their own streaming platform, you might wonder if they are offering games on any streaming TV providers like Hulu Live, YouTube TV, or DirecTV Stream.

There are currently deals in place with some, but not all the major streaming TV providers. Here are the big ones, and whether or not they are providing Twins games:

  • Fubo TV: Games are available
  • DirecTV Stream: Games are available on channel 668
  • YouTube TV: Not available at this time
  • Hulu Live TV: Not available at this time
  • Sling: Not available at this time
  • Philo: Not available at this time

The message noted with all of the providers not currently offering games includes a message encouraging you to contact them to get the Twins added to their lineup.
