Best Outdoor Lunch Spots in the Twin Ports : Barkers Island [VIDEO]

It's another addition of outdoor lunch spots to enjoy in the Twin Ports. After a quick stop at Whole Foods CO-OP Denfeld location on Grand Avenue in Duluth cameraman Josh and I headed off across the bridge to Barkers Island. It is really a quick drive from Duluth and if you are already in Superior it is super accessible.

A few others had the same idea as we did, I saw a mom with her daughter riding her bike and then a few other people walking near the Marina. With a number of benches and picnic tables and parking right by the water this is a great place to relax and have a quick bite to eat.  We grabbed a picnic table right on the beach and, enjoyed some wildlife like ducks and geese swimming near us.

A big Thank you to our friends at Whole Foods CO-OP for setting up our fantastic lunch to go, this week I had an amazing Hot Roast Beef sandwich with fresh peppers, onion and cheese with chips and made from scratch tomato soup.
