The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week Is A Sweet Senior Dog Named Archie
The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week is a senior dog named Archie. He is a black Labrador Retriever mix who is 10 years old. He found himself at Animal Allies after he was transferred from a different shelter and now he is looking for a new, loving home to call his own! I am an older gentleman looking for a luxurious retirement home ready to give me all of the pampering and love a guy could ask for in his golden years. Archie can be a bit grumpy with other dogs if they aren't respectful of him, so he would prefer a relaxed home maybe without other dogs.
Archie has been neutered, vet checked, micro-chipped, dental visit, and updated on all his shots. Sometimes these senior dogs can be such a great fit because they are not as rambunctious as younger dogs. Even though he is ten he still has lots of energy and love to give to that special someone out there. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet!
If you are interested in adopting Archie, please call the adoption team at 218-722-5341 for more information! Their adoption staff is available by phone starting right at 10:30 to 6:00 PM Tuesday-Saturday, and 10:30 to 4:00 PM Sunday. The adoption process is first come first serve so whoever reaches their staff first will have the opportunity to place a hold. Animal Allies is located at 4006 Airport Road in Duluth.
